      Larvae expressing fkhdsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4arm.PS are slightly smaller than wild-type controls. These larvae show a reduced size reduction after feeding with rapamycin compared to control larvae.

      Expression of fkhdsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PP in clones in the fat body has no effect on cell size in fed larvae. However, under conditions of starvation or rapamycin feeding, the cells in the clone are larger in size than their wild-type neighbours.
