Inhibition (using Ctet\TeTxLCFRT.stop.UAS) of Scer\GAL4GMR41A01 neurons expressing Scer\FLP1L.8xlexAop under the control of Ecol\lexAGMR24B02 in males results in a slight reduction in sine song during courtship than controls and a significant increase in pulse carrier frequency, with similar inter-pulse interval, pulse and sine amplitude and sine carrier frequency to controls.

Thermogenetic activation (using TrpA1UAS.(B).cKa at 27[o]C) of Scer\GAL4GMR41A01 cells in adult virgin females significantly increases copulation within 10 min of introduction to a male, compared to baseline, unlike controls.

Inhibition (using shi1.UAS at 30[o]C) of Scer\GAL4GMR41A01 cells in adult virgin females significantly decreases copulation within 10 min of introduction to a male, compared to baseline, unlike controls.

Inhibition (using Ctet\tetXTNT-LC.UAS) of Scer\GAL4GMR41A01 cells in adult virgin females significantly decreases copulation within 10 min of introduction to a male, compared to controls.
