Expression of if[ΔGFFNR.Scer\UAS] under the control of Scer\GAL4[how-24B] rescues the late-muscle-detachment phenotype of embryos expressing rhea[R367A.Ubi-p63E] in a Df(3L)79a mutant background.

Comments
Expression of rhea[R367A.Ubi-p63E] fails to rescue the lethality of of Df(3L)79a germ-line clones. However, expression does rescue defects in gut migration, germ-band retraction, dorsal closure, and muscle attachment. Late-onset muscle detachment is observed in these animals. Retraction of one end of some of the ventral longitudinal muscles from the attachment site is observed.
