      The expression of SkpAHMS00791 under the control of Scer\GAL4VP16.nos.UTR induces a distorted karyosome in the oocyte. In addition, the synaptonemal complex is greatly reduced; even when it is assembled it is prematurely disassembled by region 3, much earlier than in the controls.
