      Expression of Vps15HMS00908 under the control of Scer\GAL4Myo31DF-NP0001 results in defective midgut degradation after pupariation, with significantly increased size of the gastric caeca 4 hrs after puparium formation, and significantly decreased autophagy levels 2 hrs after puparium formation, as compared to controls.

      Expression of Vps15HMS00908 under the control of Scer\GAL4cg.PU results in a decrease in starvation-induced autophagy in the larval fat body, as compared to controls.

      Females heterozygous for ird1HMS00908 and MTD-Gal4 (consists of Scer\GAL4otu.T:Hsim\VP16, Scer\GAL4nos.PG and Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16) crossed to ird1HMS00908 males results in: 69% hatching; non-maternal effect.
