Expression of Vha68-2^HMS01056 under the control of Scer\GAL4^btl.PS results in early larva lethality.

Expression of Vha68-2^HMS01056 RNAi under the control of Scer\GAL4^bs.500 leads to impaired terminal tracheal cell growth and branching and the lumen formation is highly defective. On the ultrastructural level, these cell display severe lumen defect with what appears to be nascent lumens filled with swirls of membranes.
