Flies expressing hthHMS01112 under the control of Scer\GAL41151 show a striking transformation of the flight muscles into a jump muscle fate. Compared to wild-type, the sizes of the jump muscles are strongly reduced in the mutants.

Expression of labJF02317 under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.s-hc produces vibrissae defects, round bulging eyes with loss of cuticle tissue, and loss of maxillary palps.
