UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of a short inverted repeat.
Expression of CamHMS01318 under the control of Scer\GAL4ey-OK107 results a subset of P-stage flies showing pruning defects and/or precocious regrowth of axons in the mushroom body gamma-lobe, as compared to controls.
Animals expressing CamHMS01318 under the control of Scer\GAL4fkh.PU show a reduction of autophagy in the salivary glands 14 hours after pupariation and salivary gland fragments persist in these animals 24 hours after puparium (no residual salivary gland material is present in wild-type animals at this stage).
CamHMS01318/Scer\GAL4repo is a suppressor of abnormal neurophysiology | third instar larval stage | heat sensitive phenotype of zyd1
CamHMS01318/Scer\GAL4repo is a suppressor of abnormal behavior | recessive | adult stage | heat sensitive phenotype of zyd1
CamHMS01318, Scer\GAL4repo is a suppressor of paralytic | adult stage | heat sensitive phenotype of Scer\GAL4repo, TrpA1UAS.(B).cKa
CamHMS01318, Scer\GAL4fkh.PU has salivary gland | pupal stage phenotype, non-suppressible by IP3K2Δ1
The reduction in salivary gland autophagy and persistent salivary gland phenotype which is seen in pupae expressing CamHMS01318 under the control of Scer\GAL4fkh.PU is still seen if the animals are also mutant for IP3K2Δ1.
The temperature-sensitive seizure phenotype of zyd1 larvae and adults is completely suppressed by expression of CamHMS01318 under the control of Scer\GAL4repo.
Co-expression of CamHMS01318 lengthens the time required to induce paralysis at 30[o]C in flies expressing TrpA1Scer\UAS.(B).cKa under the control of Scer\GAL4repo, and the majority of flies are seen to recover from paralysis during incubation at the restrictive temperature.
