Females heterozygous for ik2^GL00160 and MTD-Gal4 (consists of Scer\GAL4^{otu.T:Hsim\VP16}, Scer\GAL4^nos.PG and Scer\GAL4^{nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16}) crossed to ik2^GL00160 males results in: 45% hatching; egg/embryonic phenotype: "most dead have dorsal appendage fusion, cuticle has anterior terminal defect"; maternal effect.
