Somatic clones expressing ykiHMS00041 under the control of Scer\GAL4Tub.PU contain a similar overall number of cells and intestinal stem cells in adult flies as controls, but show a reduction in the ratio of stem cells/clone.

Third instar larvae expressing ykiHMS00041 under the control of Scer\GAL4repo.PU exhibit fewer glial nuclei along peripheral nerves, where no bulges are observed, as compared to controls.

Expression of ykiHMS00041 under the control of Scer\GAL4Myo31DF-NP0001 partially inhibits the increase in midgut precursor cells seen in flies treated with dextran sulfate sodium (DSS).

Expression of ykiHMS00041 in the adult midgut under the control of Scer\GAL4esg-NP5130 and Scer\GAL80ts.αTub84B has no effect on cell proliferation.
