Expression of Cka^HMS00081 RNAi under the control of Scer\GAL4^Act5C.PU (using tub-Gal80[ts] to limit the RNAi expression to the adult stage) results in overproliferation of the germline stem cells at the expense of terminal differentiation in adult testes.

Animals expressing Cka^HMS00081 under the control of Scer\GAL4^Dll-md23 show deletion of the tarsus (including deletion of the claws and pulvilli), deletion of the arista and antennal segment 3 and a hooded wing phenotype.
