      Expression of His2AvHMS00162 under the control of Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16, Scer\GAL4nos.PG and Scer\GAL4otu.T:Hsim\VP16 causes significantly decreased female fertility, as compared to controls.

      Expression of His2AvHMS00162 under the control of Scer\GAL4mat.αTub67C.T:Hsim\VP16 does not affect the development of the germarium or ovariole, but results in a significant proportion of eggs showing the 'dumpless' egg phenotype, as shown by defective late stage egg chambers with short eggs and non-fragmented nurse cells, and a significant reduction in egg-laying, as compared to controls.
