Statement Reference Expression of Pk92B[ΔN.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG] under the control of Scer\GAL4[pnr-MD237] results in an increase in melanisation of the adult thorax cuticle in the domain of Scer\GAL4[pnr-MD237] expression. Flies expressing Pk92B[ΔN.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG] under the control of Scer\GAL4[pnr-MD237] exhibit black pigmentation in the thorax cuticle.
Ubiquitous expression of Pk92B[ΔN.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG] using Scer\GAL4[hs.PU], induced by a 1 hour heat shock during the pupal stage, results in black pigmentation only in the lower medial region of the thorax cuticle, together with a defect in wing expansion. | |||
