      Expression of PGRP-LCa.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP under the control of either Scer\GAL4Cg.PA, Scer\GAL4Hml.PG or Scer\GAL4yolk results in IMD pathway activation in the absence of bacterial infection.

      Expression of PGRP-LCa.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4Cg.PA results in melanization in larval, pupal and adult tissues in the absence of bacterial infection. No melanization is seen when PGRP-LCa.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4yolk.
