      At 25[o]C, Scer\GAL4Cg.PA-mediated expression of PGRP-LCx.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG is lethal. At 18[o]C, the structure of the larval fat body is strongly perturbed - cells round up and detach.

      Expression of PGRP-LCx.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of either Scer\GAL4Cg.PA, Scer\GAL4Hml.PG or Scer\GAL4yolk results in IMD pathway activation in the absence of bacterial infection.

      Expression of PGRP-LCx.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4Cg.PA results in melanization in larval, pupal and adult tissues in the absence of bacterial infection. No melanization is seen when PGRP-LCx.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4yolk.
