What does this section display?
This section contains items that were added to this record for each release.
It currently only tracks new links between this FlyBase report and other
FlyBase data classes (e.g. genes, references, stocks) or controlled
vocabulary terms (e.g. GO, anatomy terms).
What does this section not display?
This section does not currently display links that were removed or gene model changes.

Detailed Description

Statement Reference Overexpression of Hsap\FUS[P525L.10x.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG] in motor neurons via Scer\GAL4[Rapgap1-OK6] does not results in neuromuscular junction (NMJ) expansion.
Overexpression of Hsap\FUS[P525L.10x.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG] in neurons has no significant effect on locomotion.
Overexpression of Hsap\FUS[P525L.10x.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG] has no effect on longevity.

Xenogenetic Interactions

Statement Reference Expression of Hsap\FUS[P525L.10x.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG] in the nervous system of caz[383] mutant larvae (that also carry CG32576[Scer\UAS.x10]) under the control of Scer\GAL4[elav-C155] restores adult viability.
Expression of Hsap\FUS[P525L.10x.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG] under the control of Scer\GAL4[elav-C155] in caz[383] mutants also carrying CG32576[Scer\UAS.x10] partially suppresses the locomotory defects in the hemizygous males. However, the partially rescued mutants are still significantly slower than controls.
Neuronal expression of Hsap\FUS[P525L.10x.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG] under the control of Scer\GAL4[elav-C155] does not significantly restore median life span in caz[383] mutants that also carry CG32576[Scer\UAS.x10], although maximum life span is increased.
