Expression of Avic\GFP[EGFP.Scer\UAS-mir-9aSP] along the dorsal-ventral boundary of the wing disc using Scer\GAL4[vg.PM] fails to rescue the wing margin phenotype seen in mir-9a[J22] homozygous mutants.
