      Expression of p38bAGF.Scer\UAS.T:Sjap\GST under the control of Scer\GAL4Act.PU fails to rescue the "black dot" phenotype seen in the hindgut of p38bd27 mutant larvae on normal food and food supplemented with 0.1M NaCl. The larvae die when raised on 0.2M NaCl.
