Expression of PGRP-LFdsRNA.1.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.PB results in constitutive, infection-independent activation of the IMD pathway, generating Dpt levels corresponding to approximately 20% of the full response after septic injury by E. coli.
