Description
What does this section display?
This section contains items that were added to this record for each release. It currently only tracks new links between this FlyBase report and other FlyBase data classes (e.g. genes, references, stocks) or controlled vocabulary terms (e.g. GO, anatomy terms).
What does this section not display?
This section does not currently display links that were removed or gene model changes.

Lhr[T:Ivir\HA1] fully complements Dsim\Lhr[1], which is observed as hybrid male inviability in the progeny of a cross of D. melanogaster females carrying Lhr[T:Ivir\HA1] to D. simulans Dsim\Lhr[1] males. Lhr[T:Ivir\HA1] has little effect on the viability of hybrid Hmr[Df] males (progeny of Hmr[Df] Lhr[T:Ivir\HA1] D. melanogaster females mated to either D. simulans or D. mauritiana males). Lhr[T:Ivir\HA1] reduces the viability of hybrid Hmr[1] males (progeny of Hmr[1] Lhr[T:Ivir\HA1] D. melanogaster females mated to either D. simulans or D. mauritiana males).
Hybrid Hmr[1] males (progeny of Hmr[1] Lhr[T:Ivir\HA1] D. melanogaster females mated to D. mauritiana males) carrying Lhr[T:Ivir\HA1] show 32-44% viability at room temperature and 52-69% viability at 18[o]C (compared to hybrid Hmr[1] males not carrying Lhr[T:Ivir\HA1]).
