Overexpression of LptScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 in the wing disc under the control of Scer\GAL4C-765 results in both ectopic vein formation and a disrupted proximal L2 vein.
Scer\GAL469B-mediated expression of LptScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 leads to an approximately 2-fold increase in the number of circulating hemocytes at both the 'blue gut' and the 'clear gut' third instar larval stages, with no increase in the number of lamellocytes. Widespread, high level expression of LptScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 results in lethality at various developmental stages. Modest Scer\GAL4C-765-mediated expression of LptScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 results in ectopic wing veins. Modest Scer\GAL469B-mediated expression of LptScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 results in eye tumours and ectopic sex combs on the distal tarsi of male prothoracic legs. Modest Scer\GAL4unspecified-mediated expression of LptScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 results in improper cuticle pigmentation.
