Flies expressing Hsp22Tn10\tetO.cBa under the control of Tn10\tetRAct5C.T:Hsim\VP16 in the presence of doxycycline (DOX) show a significant decrease in survival when subjected to 36[o]C heat stress compared to controls.

Flies expressing Hsp22Tn10\tetO.cBa under the control of Tn10\tetRAct5C.T:Hsim\VP16 in the presence of DOX show a significant decrease in resistance to paraquat compared to controls.

Expression of Hsp22Tn10\tetO.cBa under the control of Tn10\tetRAct5C.T:Hsim\VP16 in the presence of DOX can result in a small decrease in lifespan at 25[o]C (depending on the Hsp22Tn10\tetO.cBa line used), and results in a greater reduction in lifespan compared to controls at 29[o]C.

Expression of Hsp22Tn10\tetO.cBa under the control of Tn10\tetRAct5C.T:Hsim\VP16 in the presence of DOX has no effect on sensitivity to coumarin.
