What does this section display?
This section contains items that were added to this record for each release.
It currently only tracks new links between this FlyBase report and other
FlyBase data classes (e.g. genes, references, stocks) or controlled
vocabulary terms (e.g. GO, anatomy terms).
What does this section not display?
This section does not currently display links that were removed or gene model changes.

Detailed Description

Statement Reference Expression of JIL-1[ΔCTD.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-ECFP] under the control of Scer\GAL4[da.G32] suppresses position effect variegation in In(1)w[m4] flies, as indicated by the increased proportion of red ommatidia and a 348% increase in the optical density of eye pigment levels, when compared to controls.
Expression of JIL-1[ΔCTD.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-ECFP] in a JIL-1[z2]; w[118E-10]/+ mutant background, under the control of Scer\GAL4[da.G32], suppresses the position effect variegation seen in the eye, as indicated by an increases in the proportion of red ommatidia and a statistically significant 151% increase in the optical density of eye pigment levels. | |||
