Detailed Description

Flies expressing Ubp64ENIG.5486R via Scer\GAL4Act5C.PI that are fed with paraquat do not live longer than controls fed with paraquat.

Expression of Ubp64ENIG.5486R under the control of Scer\GAL4bbg-C96 does not result in a wing phenotype.

Expression of Ubp64ENIG.5486R under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.PU does not result in a bristle phenotype.

The formation of ectopic wein material in the adult wing characteristic for flies expressing rlSem.S.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4salm.EPv is partially suppressed by co-expression of either Usp47GD10642 or Usp47NIG.5486R. The ameliorated phenotype of Scer\GAL4salm.EPv,rlSem.S.Scer\UAS;Usp47GD10642 flies can be worsened again by co-expression of either poeGD8339 or poeKK101471 : the severity of their ectopic venation phenotype is comparable to that of flies expressing rlSem.S.Scer\UAS only.
