pyrS3547/Df(2R)BSC25 mutant embryos exhibit a significant decrease in the number of cardioblasts (both generic cardioblasts and ostial cardioblasts), as compared to controls.

pyrS0439/pyrS3547 embryos show a mild defect in the migration of ventral astrocytes, while the infiltration of astrocyte processes into the neuropil is not significantly different from that of controls.

pyrS3547 mutant stage 17 embryos show a mild reduction in the number of longitudinal visceral muscle (LVM) fibres around the midgut, particularly in the anterior portion where LVM fibre spacing is wider and the first midgut constriction is either absent or reduced.

pyrS3547/Df(2R)BSC25 mutant stage 17 embryos show a strong reduction in the number of longitudinal visceral muscle (LVM) fibres around the midgut, particularly in the anterior portion where large areas are devoid of LVM fibres. The LVM founder cells are present at normal numbers in stage 11 embryos, but by stage 12 many of the founders have lost contact with the trunk visceral mesoderm (TVM) rather than spreading out across it. By stage 13 a large number of rounded and shrunken cells are seen some distance from the TVM.
