      Expression of Sra-1dsRNA.Scer\UAS in the cone and pigment cells under the control of Scer\GAL4lz-gal4 disturbs pigmentation and fenestrated membrane integrity, causing photoreceptors to fall through the retina base. No bulky rhabdomeres are observed and lenses are intact.

      Expression of Sra-1dsRNA.Scer\UAS in the cone and pigment cells under the control of Scer\GAL4lz-gal4 in a Sra-185.1/+ background disturbs pigmentation and fenestrated membrane integrity, causing photoreceptors to fall through the retina base. No bulky rhabdomeres are observed and lenses are intact.
