Detailed Description

Expression of Sulf1Scer\UAS.cBa under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E does not result in a wing vein loss phenotype. Expression of Sulf1Scer\UAS.cBa under the control of Scer\GAL4vn-GAL4 results in a loss of anterior crossvein phenotype and a reduction in wing size.

Genetic Interactions

Expression of Sulf1Scer\UAS.cBa under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PU suppresses the extra wing vein phenotype of EgfrE1 flies. Co-expression of Sulf1Scer\UAS.cBa suppresses the lethality caused by expression of vnScer\UAS.cSa under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E such that some adults survive to adulthood. The survivors have extra wing veins and blisters in the posterior region of the wing.
