      2-3 days old adults expressing SREBP1-452.UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4ninaE.PT display a range of R1-R6 photoreceptor axon terminal phenotypes: axon terminals show reduced density of synaptic vesicles, increased presence of endoplasmic reticulum-like structures, enlarged profiles that lack most capitate projections, dense core vesicles, and lower density of T-bar profiles. The structure of photoreceptor cell bodies is also perturbed.
