The expression of parvinUASp.mGFP6 under the control of Scer\GAL4en.PU leads to wing defects in the surviving adults, including notches and vein defects, as compared to controls; these are associated with increased apoptosis, epithelial disorganization and basal F-actin disorganization in the larval wing disc posterior compartment, as compared to the neighboring anterior compartment or as compared to controls.

The expression of parvinUASp.mGFP6 under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc.PU induces a mild rough eye phenotype, loss of thoracic bristles (namely in the scutellum) and ocellar bristle, loss of the arista, and leg dysplasia, as compared to controls; in the larval wing disc, the expressing cells (normally located along the anterior-posterior boundary) extrude towards the basal side of the epithelium and invade proximal areas, as compared to controls.

The expression of parvinUASp.mGFP6 also leads to: the segregation of cuticular vesicles and the loss of the maxillary palpus (Scer\GAL448Y-driven expression); a mild rough eye and the absence of the posterior crossvein (Scer\GAL469B-driven expression); and a rough eye phenotype, associated with distortion of ommatidia and disorganization of basal F-actin in pigment cells (Scer\GAL4GMR.long-driven expression). However, expression under the control of either Scer\GAL4elav.PU or Scer\GAL4sev.PU does not lead to any obvious phenotype compared to controls.
