The expression of dlg1HMS01954 driven by Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 leads to the formation of tumors in the third instar larval wing disc, with overgrowth, tissue disorganization and expansion of the apical cortical domain, as compared to controls.

The co-expression of dlg1HMS01954 and pnutGD1512 from the second instar larval stage under the combined control of Scer\GAL4ap-md544 and Gal80[ts] does not leads to the formation of tumors in the third instar larval wing disc.
The tumor phenotype and tissue disorganization resulting from the expression of dlg1HMS01954 under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 is fully or partially suppressed by the co-expression of vgScer\UAS.cKa, bskK53R.Scer\UAS, kaypan-Ala.Scer\UAS or brmK804R.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1, but not by the co-expression of CatScer\UAS.cAa.
The co-expression of eyScer\UAS.cHa in third instar larval wing discs already expressing dlg1HMS01954 under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 does not suppress the tumor overgrowth, but induces ectopic photoreceptor formation in a small proportion of cells, as compared to controls.
