      Expression of tioΔZn3.Scer\UAS.cDa under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.PS induces ectopic eyes in almost 100% of antennal discs. The ectopic eyes produced are similar in size to those seen when a full length tio construct, tioScer\UAS.cDa, is expressed.

      Antennal disc clones expressing tioΔZn3.Scer\UAS.cDa under the control of Scer\GAL4Scer\FRT.Act5C exhibit tissue overgrowth throughout the disc.
