The underreplicated nurse cell phenotype as well as the missing egg chamber dorsal appendages phenotype characteristic for flies expressing elg1HMC03187 RNAi under the control of the triple Scer\GAL4nos.PG, Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16, Scer\GAL4otu.T:Hsim\VP16 driver are partially suppressed by co-expression of enokHMS02634 RNAi. The nurse cells are still underreplicated but the nuclei are relatively bigger and the cells display higher ploidy levels (they show a bigger peak at 64C and a peak at 128C too) compared to females expressing elg1HMC03187 alone (show peak only at 64C).
