Larvae expressing trblUAS.Tag:FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4r4 show a significant decrease in body weight; larval fat body cells, their nuclei and lipid droplets are significantly smaller than in control; there is a delay to pupariation.

The expression of trblUAS.Tag:FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4slbo.2.6 induces a severe block in border cell migration.

The expression of trblUAS.Tag:FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E leads to a significant reduction in wing size:trichome density ratio, despite of no strong differences in wing size, as compared to controls.

Expression of trblScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG in the posterior wing compartment under the control of Scer\GAL4e16A results in an increase in cell size (detectable as a decrease in the density of trichomes) and a decrease in overall wing size.

Expression of trblScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG in the fat body under the control of Scer\GAL4ppl.PP results in a significant reduction in body weight at the larval stages and in two-day old female adults compared with age-matched controls.
