Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

The majority of Caf1-10536 mutant larvae do not survive longer than 48 hours after egg deposition (AED) and exhibit an apparent developmental delay and small body size when compared with wild type larvae of the same age. A few escapees live longer than 72 hours, but never survive to the pupal stage.

In contrast to wild type controls, Caf1-10536 mutant clones (generated in a Minute background) show a notched wing phenotype.

Genetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

Double heterozygous stuxnet2;Caf1-10536 females display tergite boundary defects that are not observed in stuxnet2 single heterozygote females.

One copy of Caf1-10536 enhances the penetrance of the notched wing phenotype seen in N1 mutant flies.

Comments

Expression of Caf1-105Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 completely rescues the phenotypes seen in Caf1-10536 mutants. These flies do not exhibit any detectable defects.
