Pan-neuronal expression of IdhR195H.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG driven by Scer\GAL4elav-C155 leads to defects in wing-expansion, cuticle-tanning, and locomotion.

When IdhR195H.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG is expressed in CCAP neurons using Scer\GAL4CCAP.PP, flies display defects in wing-expansion and cuticle-tanning with 50% penetrance.

The number of mature crystal cells is increased in larvae expressing Scer\GAL4Hml.Δ>IdhR195H.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG compared with wild-type. The number of lamellocytes is also increased due to Scer\GAL4Hml.Δ>IdhR195H.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG.

Expression of IdhR195H.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4dome-PG14 results in smaller lymph glands in third instar larvae compared with wild-type and the near-absence of differentiated cortical hemocytes.
