Expression of fzy^Scer\UAS.cKa suppresses the neuroblast loss seen in larval brains expressing CG7033^GD5201 under the control of Scer\GAL4^wor.PA. However, these surviving neuroblasts display phenotypes indicative of mitotic catastrophe including multinucleation and enlargement of cell diameter.

Expression of fzy^Scer\UAS.cKa under the control of Scer\GAL4^wor.PA suppresses the neuroblast loss seen in Su(var)205⁴/Su(var)205⁵ mutant larval brains.
