    UvragLL03097 mushroom body gamma neuron clones frequently show pruning defects.
    The number of autophagic structures in the UvragLL03097 mutant somatic clones of fat body cells of starved third instar larvae is comparable to surrounding control cells.
    UvragLL03097 homozygous clones within a mosaic adult midgut epithelium show a severe increase in cell number compared to control clones.
    Homozygous mushroom body gamma neurons show a moderate but robust axon and dendrite pruning defect, which is evident at 18 hours after puparium formation and persists to the adult stage.
    Autolysosome formation appears normal in UvragLL03097 mutant fat body cell clones in starved wandering third instar larvae. No accumulation of autophagosomes is seen in UvragLL03097/Df(2L)ED784 mutant fat body cells and lysosomal shape appears normal. However unlike controls more advanced stages of degradation are never seen in UvragLL03097 mutant lysosomes. Adult flies containing eyes entirely composed of UvragLL03097 mutant cells (generated using the GMR-hid method) are lighter in color compared to controls.
