Flies expressing p53Scer\UAS.A.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU have rough eyes with fused and irregular ommatidia and bristles.

Compared with controls, expression of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU>p53Scer\UAS.A.T:Hsap\MYC results in an increase in the number of apoptotic cells behind the morphogenetic furrow in eye discs.

Expression of p53Scer\UAS.A.T:Hsap\MYC in the ovary under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.PU results in a significant increase in the number of apoptotic somatic follicle cells compared with controls.

Expression of p53Scer\UAS.A.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4fkh.PH induces apoptosis in third instar larval wing disc, but less than is seen with p53Scer\UAS.A.T:Hsap\MYC.

Expression of p53Scer\UAS.A.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.PU does not induce cell death in salivary glands.

Expression of p53Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.PU induces apoptosis in mitotically cycling cells, but not in endocycling cells.
