    The ventral antennal lobe is poorly innervated by projection neuron dendrites in homozygous adults, due to displacement of the ventral projection neuron dendrites to the dorsal region of the antennal lobe. This defect is due to a failure of the normal ventromedial migration of the projection neuron dendrites during the pupal stage.
