      Flies expressing Scer\GAL4elav-C155>Hsap\HTT108.Q120.Scer\UAS show an approximately 50% decline in climbing speed at 10 days post-eclosion compared with wild-type. The climbing ability of the mutants further declines with age.

      Flies expressing Scer\GAL4elav-C155>Hsap\HTT108.Q120.Scer\UAS show reduced life span compared with wild-type. The measured half-life of mutant flies is approximately 19 days.

      No animals that express Hsap\HTT108.Q120.Scer\UAS ubiquitously under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 survive to eclose. The Hsap\HTT108.Q120.Scer\UAS-expressing animals usually survive until pupariation.
