Overexpression of Ucp4A^Scer\UAS.cWa with Scer\GAL4^tub.PU reduces thoracic indentations and locomotor defects, rescues cell death and disorganisation and fewer mitochondrial cristae within the indirect flight muscle, rescues male sterility, along with restoring morphology and organization of spermatids and mitochondria, and suppressing reduction of dopaminergic neurons in Pink1^B9/Pink1^B9 flies.

Overexpression of Ucp4A^Scer\UAS.cWa by Scer\GAL4^Act.PU reduces thoracic indentations, locomotor defects, male sterility, degeneration (cell death) and disorganization and fewer mitochondrial cristae in indirect flight muscle in park¹/park¹ flies.
