      Expression of Nha2dsRNA.Scer\UAS.cCa under the control of Scer\GAL4Act.PU results in a significant decrease in the number of flies that eclose, and reduced survival of adults when exposed to a high NaCl diet, but no difference in survival when on a high KCl diet, as compared to controls.

      Expression of Nha2dsRNA.Scer\UAS.cCa under the control of Scer\GAL4tub.PU (along with a Dicer-2 transgene to increase RNAi efficiency) results in a significant decrease in the number of flies that eclose, as compared to controls.
