Compared with wild-type, the difference in melanization of flies expressing Zzzz\Vn50Scer\UAS.P\T.cTa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 is statistically significant in females whereas it is not in males.

Compared to wild-type, there is no significant change in survival of the flies expressing Zzzz\Vn50Scer\UAS.P\T.cTa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 when challenged with the pathogenic bacterium Serratia marcescens.

The survivability against Beauveria bassiana of male flies expressing Zzzz\Vn50Scer\UAS.P\T.cTa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 is not significantly different from that of controls. However, female flies expressing Zzzz\Vn50Scer\UAS.P\T.cTa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 suffer reduced survival when treated with the Beauveria fungus compared with control females.

Both male and female flies expressing Zzzz\Vn50Scer\UAS.P\T.cTa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 show a delay in Drosophila C virus (DCV)-induced mortality.

Flies expressing Zzzz\Vn50Scer\UAS.P\T.cTa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 show accelerated development eclose one day earlier than controls.

The total number of progeny produced from three days of egg laying is significantly greater for flies expressing Zzzz\Vn50Scer\UAS.P\T.cTa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 than the control flies.
