At 22[o]C and 25[o]C, expressing Zzzz\poly-GR^50.UAS.EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4^GMR.PF induces pupal lethality or visibly necrotic eyes in a considerable proportion of Atx2^KI.GFP and Atx2^{KI.ΔmIDR-GFP} homozygotes and only in a small proportion of Atx2^{KI.ΔcIDR-GFP} homozygotes. Phenotypes are milder at 18[o]C, with only some, rare and no death being induced in Atx2^KI.GFP, Atx2^{KI.ΔmIDR-GFP} and Atx2^{KI.ΔcIDR-GFP} homozygotes, respectively, and no eye defects being observed.
