      The lethality of Nc73EFMI06026-TG4.1 mutants cannot be rescued by expression of Nc73EFS793L.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4Nc73EF-MI06026-TG4.1 (= inherent Gal4 in the Nc73EFMI06026-TG4.1 allele). Co-expression of Nc73EFS793L.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG also fails to restore the loss of synaptic transmission in photoreceptor cells (measured by electroretinogram) induced by Scer\GAL4ninaE.PU-driven expression of Nc73EFGD4760.
