The expression of Zip71BScer\UAS.cYa under the control of Scer\GAL4CG10962-NP1093 does not have a significant effect on the eclosion rate of animals reared under normal diet, but these flies exhibit significantly increased eclosion rates when fed with zinc-supplemented food, as compared to control flies.
