      Expression of α-SpecdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cUa under the control of Scer\GAL4tj.PU (in combination with a Dicer-2 transgene to enhance RNAi efficiency) leads to oocyte polarity defects, not associated with any apparent separation of the posterior follicle cells from the oocyte; and border cells exhibit defective migration, failing to migrate as a cluster of cells, as compared to controls. Adult wings exhibit a significant increase in size in flies expressing α-SpecdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cUa under the control of Scer\GAL4tj.PU, as compared to controls.
