The GMR10B07 enhancer fragment followed by the Drosophila synthetic core promoter (DSCP) is fused upstream of the p65(AD)::Zip+ hemidriver (component of a 'split driver' system, contains the p65 activation domain).
Comment: when combined with P{R75H10-GAL4.DBD} (combination referred to as 'SS01401')
Inhibition (using Ctet\TeTxLC[TNT.UAS]) of neurons targeted by the split-GAL4 pair of Scer\GAL4DBD.R75H10 and Hsap\RELAAD.R10B07 in larvae significantly reduces navigation away from higher wind speeds, compared to controls, with no effect on movement speed in the absense of wind stimuli; turn rate and size of turns are similar to controls; the probability of the first head sweep being away from stronger wind is significantly reduced, compared to controls.
