The expression of klarScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.247 leads to significant defects in myonuclear spacing (i.e. nuclear clustering) in third instar larval muscle fibers, as compared to controls. Clonal expression under the control of Scer\GAL4Scer\FRT.Rnor\Cd2.Act5C, however, does not lead to significant changes in apoptosis or in cell area in the follicular epithelium, as compared to controls.
