Flies expressing RhoBTBScer\UAS.cSa under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PU are bang sensitive and remain paralyzed or with spasms for a prolonged period of time after vortexing, whereas control flies recover immediately or within a few seconds, they also display reduced climbing ability - a phenotype also observed with Scer\GAL4Toll-6-D42, Scer\GAL4RapGAP1-OK6, Scer\GAL4repo or Scer\GAL4DJ757-driven expression of RhoBTBScer\UAS.cSa (but the effect with the latter three is weaker).
Expression controlled by either Scer\GAL4elav.PU or Scer\GAL4Mef2.247 does not significantly impair either learning or short- or long-term memory tested in a courtship conditioning paradigm.
Expression of RhoBTBScer\UAS.cSa driven by Scer\GAL4RapGAP1-OK6, Scer\GAL4Toll-6-D42 or Scer\GAL4elav.PU does not induce any significant alterations in the morphology of neuromuscular junctions in third instar larvae and expression under the combined control of Scer\GAL4477 and Scer\GAL4ppk.PG does not the formation of the dendritic arbor (number and length of dendritic branches) in larval class IV dendritic arborizing neurons
